Greg felled his first tree at the age of seven and has been using the wood to build with for just as long. He fells large Macrocarpa trees, and cuts them into large flat pieces up to 6.4 metres in length and 1.5 metres wide. They are then left to dry out for a few years. He takes inspiration from the wood as to what it should become, using natural shapes, holes and knots as features for table legs or sides of bookcases. They are works of art for the love of wood as much as they are pieces of furniture. The pieces are then oiled for a natural finish. Large shipments have been taken to the Cook Islands and as far away as Switzerland.
